Domestic sales elevate Ezz earnings, launches new meltshop
Egypt’s Ezz Steel registered a growth in its 2022 earnings, production and sales, with the help of higher domestic consumption, Kallanish understands. However, domestic demand slowed in the fourth quarter.
The Ezz Flat Steel unit will commission its second meltshop in April with a 1.6 million tonnes/year capacity, which the company says will help it achieve its export targets.
