Eight Chinese listed steelmakers report losses
Eight China-listed steelmakers have recently reported losses at their operations in the first nine months of the year, Kallanish notes.
Some of them can place their losses only in the first half of 2023 instead of the third quarter. Ma'anshan Steel, part of Baowu Group, returned to profit from losses a year ago in Q3, alongside a yearly increase of 8.68% in quarterly operating income.
