Electrodes bottoming out after sales rebound: Graphite India
Graphite India (GIL) says the graphite electrode industry downcycle is bottoming out and, with the uptick in overall economic activity, growth can be expected in the medium term.
This comes after India’s electrode producers’ sales rebounded on-quarter in the second fiscal quarter through September (FQ2) but profitability was depressed as pricing continued to remain under pressure.
