Emirates Steel, Itochu advance low-carbon iron production project
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA), United Arab Emirates’ largest fully integrated steel producer, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) and Japan’s ITOCHU Corporation. This is to pursue studies focused on the establishment of a low-emission ironmaking complex, Kallanish notes.
