Epiroc wins China iron ore mine order
Stockholm-based Epiroc has won an order for underground mining equipment from Shougang's Luannan Macheng Mining in China.
Shougang will use this at the new Macheng iron ore mine in Hebei Province, northern China. The mine's resource reserves are 995 million tonnes, and it is planned to mine and beneficiate 22m t/year of iron ore and produce 7.75m t/y of iron concentrate, Kallanish notes. The project will begin produc…
