Erdemir records significant rise in first-half revenue, profit
Turkey's Erdemir Group reduced output of crude steel in the first half by 8.7% on-year to 4.1 million tonnes, working at 87% capacity utilisation, down from 95% last year, Kallanish notes.
The firm reduced output at its Iskenderun plant in H1 by 7.1% to 2.61mt and cut the Eregli plant's output by 11.5% to 1.49mt.
