Erdemir’s first-half output, revenue notch down
Erdemir Group's steel output and sales declined in the first half of the year, but iron ore concentrate and pellet production increased, the Turkish company says.
Crude steel output declined by -5.9% on-year to 4.17 million tonnes. The Eregli plant's crude steel production actually increased 14.2% to 1.84mt. However, the Iskenderun-based Isdemir plant produced 2.33mt, down -17.4% as a result of blast furnace No.4 being off-line for necessary maintenance. T…
