New coke battery to boost Erdemir energy efficiency
Turkey's Erdemir Group is embarking on another project aimed at increasing its energy efficiency, reducing harmful CO2 emissions and increasing self-sufficiency of material and product output.
The company has started the construction of a new coke battery at its Eregli plant, with engineering works, equipment supply, transportation and first-phase construction works initiated in the third quarter of 2022, Kallanish learns from the company.
