Essar delays Saudi flats mill commissioning to 2026
India’s Essar Group has fallen behind schedule on its integrated flat steel project in Saudi Arabia.
When first announced in October 2021, the integrated flat steelworks, to be built in Ras Al Khair Industrial City on Saudi Arabia’s east coast, was scheduled to break ground by end-2022 and be completed by end-2025. However, commissioning has been rescheduled for late 2026.
