Evraz increases production with new railway wheels line
Evraz NTMK has launched its sixth automated line for machining railway wheels, the company says. Total investment in the project amounted about $14 million, Kallanish notes.
“The launch of a new line of full-profile processing of railway wheels will increase production by 65,000 wheels per year and satisfy the most stringent consumer requirements for product quality,” says Evraz vice president Denis Novozhenov.
