Evraz NA hikes plate prices
Evraz North America is lifting plate prices by $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
The price hike is in line with a widely supported increase on sheet products by most major US mills. The sheet increase is already being partially collected, says one Midwest buyer, lending credibility to this plate price increase.
Prior to the increase, Kallanish put A36 product at $740-760/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
