Evraz NTMK ships sheet piles to shipyards
Evraz NTMK has shipped over 8,000 tonnes of L5-UM grade sheet piles to two United Shipbuilding Corporation subsidiaries. This steel is produced using vanadium and copper to increase strength and corrosion resistance.
Evraz said in April it expects Russia and Ukraine unit pig iron production to rise in the second quarter due to the launch of the 2.5 million tonnes/year capacity blast furnace no.7 at NTMK (see Kallanish passim).
