Evraz reduces headcount in Portland, idles spiral mill
Evraz Oregon Steel plans to cut about 230 employees from its Portland, Oregon, pipe mill due to “... a significant business downturn,” Kallanish learns from paperwork filed with the Oregon state government.
The headcount reduction will begin 6 April and will be completed within two months, the company says.
