Evraz’s Alardinskaya mine also hits output milestone
Russia’s Alardinskaya mine, part of steelmaker Evraz, was the second among Raspadskaya’s units to reach a significant mark in coking coal production in January-May, the company says.
The enterprise mined 1 million tonnes of coal from two mining sites, Kallanish notes.
Coal miners extracted the bulk from the 6-1-20 longwall and the rest from the new 6-1-22 mining site, the reserves of which are almost 3mt of KS grade coking coal.
