FAS offers Russian steelmakers settlement in anti-trust case
Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has confirmed the possibility of concluding settlements with Severstal, NLMK and MMK. The steelmakers rejected and appealed the department’s ruling in early 2022 that they acted unlawfully in establishing and maintaining high prices in the domestic market.
The FAS opened an anti-trust investigation into the three steelmakers in 2021 (see Kallanish passim).
