Feralpi invests in green energy
Italian rebar maker Feralpi will invest €100 million ($115m) in the next five years to produce renewable energy at its main Italian steelmaking plant near Brescia, developing “a greener energy mix”. So said chairman Giuseppe Pasini at the Made in Steel event attended by Kallanish.
The steelmaker intends to achieve more than 100MW of installed power for self-consumption, covering 20% of the company's energy requirements in Italy.
