Ferrexpo says DR pellet lowers emissions 37%
Ukraine-based iron ore pellet producer Ferrexpo has completed the findings of its Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which show the DRI-EAF route using Ferrexpo’s premium DR pellet reduces embodied carbon emissions versus sinter-fed BF-BOF steelmaking.
