Ferrum places HRC order with thyssenkrupp Materials
Ferrum has placed a PLN 39.2 million ($10m) order with thyssenkrupp Materials Trading for hot rolled coil, with deliveries scheduled for December 2020 to March 2021.
This brings the total value of orders from the supplier since 22 June to PLN 71.9m.
The Polish pipemaker said in May it was seeking new steel suppliers on account of Covid-19-related disruptions, which could lead to a slight increase in steel buying prices (see Kallanish passim).
