Ferrum to divest steel fabricator subsidiary
Polish welded pipemaker Ferrum has decided, as part of its strategic review designed to stem losses, to divest its steel fabricator subsidiary ZKS Ferrum.
Ferrum’s consolidated sales in the nine months through September 2019 rose 43% to PLN 361.7 million ($84.1m) thanks to increased production capacity and welded pipe sales, while steel structures sales grew only 8% to PLN 43m (see Kallanish passim). Consolidated net profit was PLN 1.89m.
