Ferrum's third-quarter pipe shipments surge
Polish producer Ferrum’s pipe sales rose 48% on-year to 31,600 tonnes In the third quarter of 2019.. Steel structures' sales increased 3% to PLN 12.11 million ($28.06m).
In the nine months through September Ferrum’s pipe sales thus rose 52% on-year to 92,500t.
Consolidated nine-month revenue rose 43% to PLN 361.7m ($84.1m) thanks to increased production capacity and welded pipe sales (see Kallanish passim). Net profit was PLN 1.89m.
