Flats drive Turkey's steel production rise in January-July
Turkish finished steel production rose 3.1% on-year to 22.4 million tonnes in the seven months through July, supported by flat steel output increase, according to the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD).
The figure shows that the pace of growth of Turkey's finished steel output accelerated in July, after slowing to 0.2% in January-June from 1.4% in January-May, Kallanish notes.
