NLMK diverts rolling operations after Ural flooding
NLMK has suspended the Nizhny Sergi-based rolling mills of its Ural works after the site was flooded, but the company tells Kallanish rolling will be diverted to other units.
"We are able to redistribute the volumes of billets for rolling to other capacities and satisfy the needs of all customers," the steelmaker comments. According to preliminary estimates, it will be possible to restart production in ten days, by the end of July.
