Formosa Ha Tinh slashes list prices
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh has slashed its offer prices for August shipments. Its prices for hot rolled coil remain higher than import levels however due to the recent slump in prices, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker cut HRC prices by $25/tonne. Base SAE1006 was cut to $516/t cif, while SPHT3, S235JR, SG255 and SS490 were cut to $536/t. HRB without skin pass was cut to $511/t cif. The company maintained its $5/t discount for SS400 and for pipe-making grades…
