Desheng project in doubt as Guangxi questions quotas
Baosteel Desheng Stainless Steel’s capacity replacement plan has been cancelled according to the Fujian Ministry Industry and Information Technology on 7 November. The plan was challenged by the province of Guangxi, which asked for confirmation that the capacity quota for the project had not been double-counted, Kallanish notes.
