Fushun Special volumes drop but profits grow
Fushun Special Steel earned 29% more in net profits in the third quarter 2023 versus Q2. However, it saw a 9% decline in total production in the same period, Kallanish learns.
Sales and production showed that the demand was still weak in Q3. Total production and sales, including alloy structural steel, tool steel, stainless steel and high temperature alloy, decreased 9% and 19% quarter-on-quarter to 113,700 tonnes and 111,600t, respectively.
