Georgsmarienhütte upgrades dedusting at Bous mill
Germany’s Georgsmarienhütte Holding (GMH) has invested a two-digit million euro amount in the installation of a new dedusting system at its ingot mill in Bous, Saarland.
It notes that the former filter with a capacity of processing 560,000 cubic metres/hour of exhaust was already impressive. The new system, however, has a capacity of 1.3 million m³/h, which reduces the dust particle share to 1 milligram/cubic metre. The legal limit is 5mg per m&s…
