Gerdau announces price drops on longs
Gerdau Long Steel North America has announced multiple price decreases on a variety of long products, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The company is reducing pricing by $40/short ton on most wide-flange and standard beam products.
In addition, Gerdau is eliminating the $20/st stock charge on beam product inventory, and the published price on most angles, channels, flats, rounds and squares will drop by $25/st.
