Gerdau begins construction on Texas solar facility
Long steel producer Gerdau North America has begun construction on an 80-megawatt solar power facility located near the company's steel mill in Midlothian, Texas, Kallanish learns.
Gerdau is building the plant alongside energy companies 174 Power Global and TotalEnergies. Together, they will add 231,000 solar panels by the summer of 2023.
