Shell solar partnership supplies 50% of Gerdau power
Brazilian long steel producer Gerdau has received approval, without restriction, from Brazilian authorities to create a joint venture with Shell for the development, construction and operation of a new solar park in Minas Gerais state. The endorsement was confirmed by the country’s trade defence agency, Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (Cade), in a note seen by Kallanish.
