Gerdau plans to expand merchant bar production

Gerdau plans to expand its merchant bar production capabilities by upgrading operations at the company's facility in Jackson, Tennessee. In an update obtained by Kallanish, the company's North American long steel division announced plans to upgrade the rolling mill, roll shop, and warehouse at Jackson in order to increase production.
