Gerdau raises structural, beam prices by $50/st
US long steel producer Gerdau has raised its base pricing on structural steel, beams, and pillings by $50/short ton, Kallanish understands.
In a letter to customers, Gerdau announced the increase for several long steel products effective on new orders in September. The latest increase occurs two months after a similar $60/st increase by Gerdau at the beginning of July.
