Gerdau signs natural gas supply contract with Petrobras
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau will significantly reduce energy costs by using natural gas in its production chain at the Ouro Branco mill, Kallanish learns from the company.
The steelmaker has signed a four-year agreement with local provider Petrobras effective 1 January 2022. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
