Gerdau’s production, sales weaken in fourth quarter
Gerdau reported lower crude steel production and sales in the fourth quarter. Full-year performance, however, was up year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
Q4 production capacity utilisation was at around 74%, reflecting the seasonally weaker quarter, especially in the domestic market, as well as scheduled maintenance carried out at some units.
