German scrap prices have increased in March amid higher demand and exports mainly to Turkey, say local market participants. However, this trend may not continue next month after Turkish mills stopped restocking.
“Scrap availability decreased significantly over the last week and the market is showing signs of weakening demand,” a buyer tells Kallanish.
