Global Ferronickel to build rebar rolling mill
Global Ferronickel Inc. (FNI), a nickel ore producer in the Philippines, says it will build a rebar rolling plant in Mariveles in Bataan. The mill plans to start this project in the first quarter of 2021 and complete it in the December-2021 quarter, Kallanish notes.
This plant is expected to cost $50 million and will target 600,000 tonnes/year of rebar rolling capacity. Official operation is scheduled for 2022.
