Grossmann leaves GMH’s supervisory board chair
Jürgen Grossmann, the owner of Georgsmarienhütte (GMH) Gruppe, has stepped down from his position as chairman of the supervisory board, but will remain a regular member, Kallanish learns from a statement.
He will be succeeded by Leonhard Birnbaum, chief executive of energy group Eon. Notably, Grossmann himself used to be ceo of Germany’s biggest energy utility, RWE, for a five-year tenure in the early 2010s.
