Guilin Pinggang issues final acceptance for Primetals EAF
Guilin Pinggang Iron & Steel, a steel producer in China's Guangxi province, issued a final acceptance certificate for the electric arc furnace provided by Primetals.
The project includes a Quantum EAF with a tapping weight of 120 tonnes and a 120t ladle furnace. This will reach 1.2 million tonnes/year of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
