Guofeng coastal steelworks to commission in 2020
Tangshan Fengnan district government and Hebei Sino Giant Group held a contract signing ceremony on 2 November to develop a steelworks with capacities of 8m tonnes/year of steel and 3.44m t/y of coke. The project will cover a land area of 1.3 million square metres and require a total investment of CNY 38 billion ($5.62 billion), Kallanish notes.
