Guofeng shuts down blast furnace
Tangshan Guofeng Steel Limited Company will completely close from 29 March its ‘North’ production area by order of the Fengnan District government of Tangshan City in Hebei Province. The firm may close further small blast furnaces and focus on production at large blast furnaces, Kallanish notes.
