Guofeng commissions new pickling line
China’s Tangshan Guofeng Steel successfully tested its No.3 cold rolling pickling production line on 15 June, according to local media.
This line has a design production capacity of 1.1 million tonnes/year. Its products will be high-grade coils for construction, white goods and automotive components. The facility will produce strip with a thickness range of 0.25-2.2mm, and the mill's top speed will be 1,200 metres/minute, Kallanish notes.
