Increased volumes boost Hadeed first-quarter earnings
Saudi Iron & Steel Company (Hadeed), a subsidiary of petrochemical giant Sabic, reported a 34% on-quarter and 45% on-year surge in first-quarter revenue to SAR 4.32 billion ($1.15 billion), driven primarily by higher sales volumes, Kallanish notes.
The company recorded lower average sales prices on-quarter, which tempered revenue growth, Sabic says in its latest earnings report.
