Hadisolb looks to procure coke from China
Egyptian Iron and Steel Company (Hadisolb) is in talks with two Chinese companies to procure 150,000 tonnes of coke in exchange for the supply of its steel products. The coke will be used to raise capacity utilisation.
Earlier this year the firm indicated it hoped to issue by end-March a tender to select a contractor for its rehabilitation. It recently completed a rights issue to raise EGP 976.9 million ($53.8m) to put towards the modernisation of the steelworks…
