Hadisolb readies BF3 for restart, awaits coke supply
Egyptian Iron and Steel Company (Hadisolb) has readied its blast furnace no.3 for a restart as soon as it receives coke feedstock from China, a source at the company tells Kallanish.
The steelmaker is in talks to sell up to 150,000 tonnes of its products, including hot rolled coil, plate, beam and billet, to an Egyptian trading company. This would be in return for being supplied with imported coke from China, the source says. Hadisolb also continues to source ty…
