Hascelik commissions heat treatment furnace
Turkey's Has Celik has installed and put into operation a heat treatment furnace at its rolling mill, Kallanish learns from the special steelmaker's owner, Faydasicok Holding.
The fully automatic heat treatment furnace of the rail-driven type has the capacity to treat 40 tonnes/day of 19-80 mm alloyed steel bars and spring steel. It will be used for softening and stress relief, the holding company says in a statement.
