Hegang to develop 8mt Philippine steelworks
Hebei Iron & Steel Group (HBIS or Hegang) has announced it plans to build an 8 million tonnes/year integrated iron and steel plant in the southern Philippines. The construction period is expected to be 3-5 years, Kallanish notes.
