HBIS operates world’s largest push-pull pickling line
China’s HBIS Tanggang, which is also known as Tangsteel, has begun sustained production at the world’s largest push-pull pickling line (PPPL) at its Laoting plant, according to the equipment supplier Primetals.
The first coil was successfully produced in December, Kallanish notes. The line belongs to Tanggang’s new 2,030mm cold rolled coil mill, currently under construction, with 1 million tonnes/year capacity.
