Hebei's Chengde city publishes steel capacity cut details

Hebei province’s Chengde city has published details of the 1.04 million tonnes/year of iron and 1.9m t/y of steel capacity it plans to eliminate in 2017, according to its official government website. Targeted steel capacity is mainly from Hebei Iron & Steel’s (Hegang) Chengde subsidiary and from Shengfeng Company. The equipment should be removed before the end of September.
