Hebei Jinxi commissions BF and converter
Hebei Jinxi Iron & Steel has commisioned one 2,000 cubic-metre blast furnace and one 150-tonne converter at its Hebei Tangshan plant, Kallanish notes from market reports.
Jinxi started the construction of two 2000 cum blast furnaces in October 2019, with the techonology from Fujian Sangang Minguang. The blast furnace has 1.7 million tonnes/year of capacity, and one of these was put into operation in June 2020.
