Hebei releases capacity cuts' data for 2018
The Hebei Provincial Economic and Information Committee reports that by the end of the 2018, a total of five steel companies had eliminated outdated iron and steel capacities and had passed a review of the closures. In 2018, Hebei removed 3.1225 million tonnes/year of steel capacity and 530,000 t/y of iron capacity, Kallanish notes.
