Hegang adds hot blast stoves in Serbia
HBIS Serbia has recently put into production the No.1 hot blast stove attached to its No. 2 blast furnace. HBIS Serbia made a profit of $20 million in 2017, after the plant had lost money for seven years before being purchased by Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang).
The upgrade of two hot blast stoves was started in August 2017. No.1 hot blast stove was put into production on 29 March, and No.2 hot blast stove is planned to commission in September, 2018. HBIS S…
